Laying out the template for the bulwark cap, seen being programmed in the previous picture. Here the bulwark supports are on, and the bulwark sides, whose tops are not yet trimmed. I bandsawed the templates from 1" x 6", then layed them on an x y coordinate sytem which I drew on the floor. I didn't try to program the irregular curve; just went point to point in 4" segments, which was close enough for this. Ground them clean and fair, set them on the supports, then dragged the torch along them to trim the bulwark sides. Next
